The Role

 

We are looking for a full-time, fully benefitted pharmacist (30-40 hours per week) to serve as our Unblinded Pharmacist on a number of our clinical research trials. This is an integral member of the team and is the backbone of every study in which an unblinded person is needed at the site level. 

Type: Full-time; 30 hours per week, fully benefitted (will consider candidates interested in more than 30 hours/week)

Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, traditional daytime hours

Reports to: Site Director

Pay: $100,000-124,000/yr

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Delegate creation of Site Blinded Plan; review and sign off once completed
  • Review study pharmacy manual sheet
  • Meet with team prior to start of study to review procedures
  • Receipt, storage and monitoring of IP
  • IP preparation, thaw time if applicable, needed materials, and IP preparation/process
  • Discuss Unblinded pharmacist timing needs for verification of IP preparation, study dependent
  • Recommend when verifications are needed at specific steps within the plan
  • Per pharmacy manual, work with unblinded team to document administration times

 

Qualifications

  • Current and unencumbered license as a Pharmacist in the state of California required
  • Successful completion of a PharmD required
  • Comfortable with minimal amount of patient interaction
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Attention to detail and passionate about patient safety
