The Role

 

The Clinical Trials Budget Analyst is responsible for the management of all clinical trial budgets within the clinical trial management software system (CRIO). The Clinical Trials Budget Analyst is responsible for managing budget forecasting, submitting clinical trial budgets, entering amendments, and making revisions within CRIO, as requested. This role will oversee the queue of budgets, amendments, and revisions, and is directly responsible for managing the queue within our project management system, ClickUp. They are the first point of contact for questions around the budget configurations.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, traditional business hours

Reports to: Manager of Clinical Applications

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the Headlands’ clinical trial management system (CRIO) and its financial modules
  • Collaborate with Budget & Contract team to provide input on clinical trial budget terms
  • Anticipate collection challenges and advise on mitigation strategies
  • Accurately enter clinical trial budgets into CRIO and advise eSource architects on financial considerations associated with study builds; proactively manage study budgets throughout the project lifecycle
  • Participate in internal study kick-off meetings to advise sites and AR team on CTMS build
  • Implement processes to facilitate communications between sites and AR team to ensure timely invoicing of sponsors for ad hoc and administrative payments
  • Serve as point of contact for CRIO stipend module
  • Manages the queue of configuration requests and is responsible for the management of the CRIO Finance inbox
  • Liaise with application vendors as needed to troubleshoot, track enhancements, and monitor invoices

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education + experience required

  • Experience with clinical trial management systemsrequired
    • CRIO experience strongly preferred
  • Previous experience with and strong knowledge of clinical trials required
  • Tech-savvy; strong Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Effective communication skills (written/verbal)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to interpret contract payment terms
