The Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at our clinical research site located in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing treatment options for patients and patient safety, has the accountability and motivation to complete time-sensitive duties ahead of schedule, and has an extremely high attention to detail.  

Type:  Full-time, fully benefitted

Schedule:  Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Location:  Springfield, MO (no remote opportunities)

 

Responsibilities

  • Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting 
  • Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits
  • Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol
  • Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants’ eligibility
  • Maintains proper documentation
  • Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
  • Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports

 

Qualifications

  • Current and unencumbered license to practice as an NP (Adult or Family) or PA in the state of Missouri required
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant Master's program
  • Previous experience with direct hands-on patient care required
  • Previous experience in the clinical research industry preferred
  • Willing to accept new graduates!
