The Role

 

We are seeking an experienced and driven Patient Recruiting Manager to lead and oversee our patient recruitment team for clinical research studies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing a team of patient recruiters and possess in-depth knowledge of the clinical research recruiting process. Candidates should appreciate the atmosphere of a growing company and the need to impact process development while supporting sites. Success in this position requires agility, collaboration and exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

 

Employment Type:  Regular Full-time Employee 

Schedule:  Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Range:  $90k-107k/year (dependent upon years of applicable experience)

Location:  Remote within the US

Reports to:  Director of Patient Recruitment Operations

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise 8-10 remote direct reports and the daily operations of the patient recruitment team to ensure optimal recruitment performance and efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategic patient recruitment plans to meet enrollment targets for clinical trials
  • Utilize and manage technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) applications, to enhance patient recruitment productivity and efficiency
  • Trend and communicate key call center metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts
  • Collaborate with site leaders and the Director of Recruitment to set and communicate weekly patient recruitment goals and outcomes for all studies
  • Ensure compliance with GCP and other regulatory guidelines and ethical standards in quality patient recruitment.
  • Train and support the recruitment team in best practices for patient engagement and pre-screening
  • Implement a process to receive and implement participant feedback for continuous improvement
  • Work with the Director to resolve any participant concerns and escalations
  • Identify and solve recruitment challenges and barriers to meeting recruitment objectives
  • Produce and share reports and metrics on recruitment progress on a routine basis
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase call center productivity and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience 
  • 3+ years of leadership experience within a patient recruitment call center environment preferred.
  • General understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), CFR, and state regulations as applicable
  • Experience in leading remote teams across different time zones in a global work environment
  • Proven experience leading and implementing call center operational strategies, teams, and solutions, preferably in a clinical trials environment with a diverse therapeutic area focus
  • Data-driven mindset with the capability to analyze recruitment metrics and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software and call center technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Results oriented- demonstrates strong business planning skills, communicates objectives clearly to teams and has proven experience in execution to get to desired results
  • Driven- self-starter that can inspire and motivate teams, has excellent time management skills and is ready to execute in a tactical and strategic manner
  • Strong Communicator- strong communication skills to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
