Details

    • Position Type — Full-time Employee
    • Pay Range — $23-27/hr *dependent upon relevant experience, certifications, and education.
    • Work Schedule — Mondays through Fridays, 7:00am to 3:30pm 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support clinical trial operations by assisting with patient visits, documentation, and clinical tasks.
  • Perform vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, and phlebotomy as trained and certified.
  • Prepare for and participate in patient visits, protocol procedures, and study drug compliance.
  • Assist with informed consent processes and patient education.
  • Maintain accurate source documentation, regulatory paperwork, and study logs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, study coordinators, and sponsors to ensure protocol adherence.
  • Participate in recruitment, chart reviews, and telephone screening of research subjects.
  • Process lab specimens and prepare for shipment.
  • Respond to sponsor and monitor queries in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications

  • Required:
  • Previous experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or clinical research setting
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program

 

  • Preferred:
  • Strong organizational, communication, and patient service skills
  • Current certification highly preferred from one of the following:
    • Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA)
    • Registered Medical Assistant (AMT or AAH)
    • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (NHA)
    • National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT)
    • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NAHP)
    • Certified Medical Assistant Clinical (AMCA)
  • Extremely well organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Trustworthy, reliable; attentive to details
  • Mature and pleasant demeanor
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company
